Default Opinions on Rem.700ml

I'm in the market for a 209 conversion for my Rem.700ML. I used it last season with no success. The delay between the #11cap and ignition was severe and the spring rarely popped the cap on the first triggerpull.Ive heard that the 209 kit made by Remington caused excessive flashback due to vents on the nipple.Ive also heard of the canadian version from brownells or R&P muzzleloading to be a little better.Any suggestions? Loose powder or pellets? Thanks'
