old co-worker had one of those a few yrs ago. Not a bad gun but was in pretty poor shape. He didn't go more than a few hundred feet from his truck anyways when hunting so not like it was going to be used much.
Pretty neat guns though, sucks it sounds like you got a bad barrel with yours.
