Mike my guess is that a breach block slides back like the slide on a 1911 semi-auto,that it locks forward and you have to use the lever to open it. I did not spot anything that looked like a break open set up either, but I am using an old Z90 monitor thats only about 18 inches so it might not show up to well. The break open idea actually makes sense as they are so popular.

Special made for Cabela's under contract [they do that] and they might have included a stop on any one else releasing info.
I noticed this before a couple of times.

I purchased a CVA Kodiak for My Wife a few years back from Wal-Mart, it had Camo stock and blued barrel. Nowhere else have I even seen one with this combination. You could get them Bk/BL or Camo/SS but not Camo/BL and I have one. So I was thinking this was made just for Wal-Mart by CVA?? the same as mabey the new TC and CVA's are made just for Cabela's. We'll see what happens after the new modles are introduced at the S.H.O.T. Show.

looks like in order to break the impact open, you pull back on the lever and the barrel tips over.

Did you notice in the manual that some of the sabot loads go up to 400 gr? What would you need a 400gr bullet for Griz or buffalo?
