Mike my guess is that a breach block slides back like the slide on a 1911 semi-auto,that it locks forward and you have to use the lever to open it. I did not spot anything that looked like a break open set up either, but I am using an old Z90 monitor thats only about 18 inches so it might not show up to well. The break open idea actually makes sense as they are so popular.

I know this is about the new TC ML but on TC's web page there is no mention anywhere of this new ML, as with the new CVA Optima there is also no mention on CVA's web page either, what gives? Are these just made for Cabela's? I cant find info anywhere on either one.

I purchased a CVA Kodiak for My Wife a few years back from Wal-Mart, it had Camo stock and blued barrel. Nowhere else have I even seen one with this combination. You could get them Bk/BL or Camo/SS but not Camo/BL and I have one. So I was thinking this was made just for Wal-Mart by CVA?? the same as mabey the new TC and CVA's are made just for Cabela's. We'll see what happens after the new modles are introduced at the S.H.O.T. Show.
