Help me choose a scope!!!

Help me choose a scope!!!
I' m getting my first muzzleloader and am trying to decide what scope to get for it. Being new to muzzleloading and on a budget I' m getting an entry level rifle and will equip it with an inexpensive scope.
Before everybody tells me " you get what you pay for" and how much better the expensive scopes are please try to keep a budget under $100 and help me find the best scope within that price range. I' m not looking for the best scope out there, just the best one under $100. Here are the scopes I' m considering, all in 3x9x40mm.
Simmons 8 point.
Tasco World Class.
Bushnell Trophy or Banner.
Please tell me why you prefer one over the other. I' m in Iowa where shotguns are about all I' ve ever used so scopes are pretty foreign to me. Thans for your help!!

This is not one of your choices, but I would go with a Cabelas Pine Ridge Riflescope in 3-9x40 for $89.99. This scope has a eye relief of 3.5" , and all lenses are glass and multi-coated. What I understand is all lenses are fuly multi-coated. The other scopes you asked about do not have these features. www.cabelas.com Good luck.

I' ve heard a lot of people trashing the Pine Ridge scopes and seen a lot of them in the bargain room at Cabela' s that had been returned, although I obviously don' t know the reason. That made me leery of considering them as a decent scope. Have you had good luck with them?
I again want to say that I know I' m not going to get a " good" scope for under $100 but I would like to find something decent that will serve me for at least three or four years.

I would get a straight 4X scope. Watch on Ebay for a good deal. Sometimes you can get a used 4X Leupold for around $100. Then send it to Leupold to have them check it out. They have a lifetime warranty.

Please don' t get a Pine Ridge because they' re cheap junk made in China. That' s why so many of them are returned. I also made that mistake because Cabelas makes them sound so good in their catalog. I recommend the Bushnell Trophy or Banner because I own both and I' ve never had a problem. They' re very clear and hold a zero.

RE: Help me choose a scope!!!
I recommend two scopes that are inexpensive but perform very well. One is the Simmons Atec and the other is the Bushnell Elite 3200. The Atec is the only Simmons scope I' ll use. It is a darn good scope and you can see out of it after the sun goes down better than with your eyes. The Bushnell is a great bargin and very bright, it doesn' t cost as much now because they are pushing the 4200. The 3200 is fully multi coated, water proof, shock proof and that rainguard works well.
