Scientist released some new findings last week that there was more c02 in the atmosphere during the jurassic period then there is now. the global warming crowd was quick to blame the "flintstonemobile" as the cause..........I bowhunted Illinois years ago for 5 days and the temp never hit above zero. i can handle cold but hate wind plus cold.

I got about six inches of snow total today, but some real cold is headed. They are talking -14º without the wind effect. So if that wind comes off Lake Superior, it could get a little chilly around here.

Of course we complain but a friend sent me picture of a Ft.Wainwright Education Center in Fairbanks Alaska and the thermometer read -43º and that was not wind chill.

Last night we got 4.5" and 24 degrees and I was bumed out until I read some of the replys. We are having a heat wave. I feel for you from the south. I saw on the news a fountin that was frozen solid in Ga. All I can say is put the layers on and enjoy the great outdoors.

So much for globial warming
