#11
I used the Scorpion pt gold 260/45cal with the crush ribbed sabot, with 777 loose this year for the first time. They shot better out of my ph than anything i have tryed.4 deer all perfect shots, the farthest shot was only 100 yards. But i will use them from now on.Never recovered a bullet.Glad for the good shots, but would have liked to see one.

This is where I get the Lehigh bullets, The 200gr in the MMP 50/40 sabot shoots less than a 3/4 inch @ 100 yds if I load it heavy it likes a lot of powder. These are the new all Brass bullets that are made to open with explosive force and then plow on through with a wad cutter configuration. It is a very new concept but Grouse Sabot loader and I have had excellent results with the this year, Sabot loader likes the 275 I like the 200 and Grouse has shot several animals some with the 250 but I am not sure which he likes best.

That was my initial plan for a load using either T7 3f which my Triumph loves or maybe give the BH209 a whirl. Definitely looking real hard at the 260 in a CR sabot. Thanks for the info and congrats on the 4 deer. I took 2 this year with the Triumph, a 5 point at a lasered 141 yards and a nice 9 point at 95 yards. Both pass throughs as well.
Sorry, forgot to add it was 150 grains of loose T7
