My Omega Has Lost It's Mind
#1
My Omega's been shooting groups less than 1 inch until today. Two days ago I had 3 shots almost in the same hole.
My Load: 90 grains Tripe Se7en - Hornady 250gr SST Low Drag
I read on this forum the best way to foul the barrel was just load 40 grains of powder and shoot.
With no compression against the powder, the primer never ignited the powder after 3 tries. On the fourth try, to save my bullets, I put a .44 cal lead semi-wadcutter in a MMP Green sabot and fired. The power ignited.
Next I fired a 5 shot group (100 yards) that was all over the target, maybe a 7 inch group. Right - Left - High - Low.
1-Wet patch, 1 dry patch after each shot.
I checked the Leupold 3x9 scope and mounts - All tight.
BTW: I've floated the barrel.
Any Thoughts?

have you run a 1/8" drill bit into your breechplug? A buildup of carbon (Not the Al Gore type) will mess up your ignition and messed up ignition will mess up accuracy. Also you could run a .035" wire or drill bit through the flash hole
