It is offical i made my hillbilly liceanse the other day. I am now a hillbilly. Maybe it is to much time spent in Ky maybe i live to close now. Who knows. But heres the story.
I have been looking at getting a bipod or tripod set of shooting sticks. I did not last year and it became a must with getting the triumph. I looked there like 100 bucks for a bipod or tripod shooting sticks. Well i though why can't i use a tripod for a camera there like 29 bucks. I planned out how to make a v groove for the top to sit the gun on. Then i found one online for 7 bucks plastic just like the ones they use for the good sticks. I went to walmart 25 bucks for the tripod. Then i though that shinny metal ant going to do me any good. I was walking by the paint and thought i will get some black flat paint. Then i saw the camo ultra flat matte paint. 5 bucks a can but that tripod looks good dark matte hunter green. It is like a green brown color the stuff they sell for camo painting something. I figured it would look like crap. It does not it looks real good. A nice hunter green color heck now it looks like it is for hunting. I also welded a bow hanger that has to bends in it so i can turn it to sit right where i need the bow. Looks like the ones they sell at gander or cabelas though it cost 5 bucks and could hold me. I guess i am 100% hillbilly now but thats ok.

Man, and I thought you were going to tell us that you came across Ned Beatty in the woods and made him squeal like a pig!

Hey i can beat the tripod. I took a saw horse a work built. He used 8 penny nails and it was falling apart. By the time i got done it had 2x4s and 2x6s screwed all which ways and a piece of laminated mdf on it for a target. It looks like it was built 50 years ago in Ky. I will get some pics for you to laugh at tomorrow.
