I'm new here and looking for advice. I have a Knight LK-93 that I have replaced the breech plug and nipple in. I oredered it from Knight and they gave me a muskett cap nipple. Is this a better one over the #11. It looks to be more akward to fool with. Do they make a capper for the 4 winged caps?

Welcome to the forum. I also shoot the same rifle. I use a #11 cap system but your musket cap will work just fine. Is it better you ask? Remember, shoot loose powder only. Even though a musket cap puts more fire into the breech then a #11 it is still really not enough under certain conditions to ignite pellets each and every time. And I have never had a problem setting off loose powder with a #11. One problem some face is finding top hats or the musket caps.
They do make cappers for the musket caps. I saw them on a Traditions Rifle site a while back. OR If you want, you can get a hot shot #11 nipple, change that over to the musket one, and get #11 caps and shoot them. A good brass inline capper makes loading the rifle, even with a scope easy.

Thanks for the input. I had a #11 on it before but some how it stripped out the hole in the breech plug so I ordered a new plug and the plug that was in my gun had been updated so htey sent the new plug and a new wrench. It seems to be easier than the old one with the slot. Thanks again and I'll try to find a capper.

This is just my personal opinion, but i much prefer the #11 Mag cap to the Musket cap. I always worry about the looser fit of the musket caps on the nipple - worried they might fall off when I am not looking.
Just remember there are two types of #11's, one is a standard cap the other is a #11 Mag.
I use both the CCI #11 mag and the RWS Dynamit Noble #1075+ cap.... I really prefer the 1075 when hunting and when it is cold out....
One last thing.... RWS Dynamit Nobel also make a musket cap that does not have the top hat - and if I were shooting muscket caps that is the one that I would choose....

My experience with musket caps and a T/C Renegade is not good. I have no idea why though.
I thought it would be intersting to try, so I got a T/C musket nipple. I experienced hangfires about half the time. The caps were seated properly. Anyway, swithced back to good old D/N 1075's and perfect ignition every time. End of experiment.

What powder to you plan on using? My experience with #11s and 777 was not good below freezing, but I think it was regular #11 and it was a sidelock (probably the WORST combination).
I'd go with cayugad's advice, he's been there and done that.
