This is just my personal opinion, but i much prefer the #11 Mag cap to the Musket cap. I always worry about the looser fit of the musket caps on the nipple - worried they might fall off when I am not looking.

Just remember there are two types of #11's, one is a standard cap the other is a #11 Mag.

I use both the CCI #11 mag and the RWS Dynamit Noble #1075+ cap.... I really prefer the 1075 when hunting and when it is cold out....

One last thing.... RWS Dynamit Nobel also make a musket cap that does not have the top hat - and if I were shooting muscket caps that is the one that I would choose....
