there are 6 of us that hunt together ,we have been useing the 295 HP for years. we shoot 80-100 grns of 777,pyrodex,shockeys gold or blackhorn. we have killed around 200 deer and 6-7 bear with these bullets. i've seen very few bullets that came apart enough to matter. most deer only travel 50 yds or less . i killed one last yr. at 146yds that didn't take a step. you may not get a exit wound sometimes with powerbelts ,but dead is dead. if he goes down still in sight ,who cares if it exits.

In 2007 /08 season I used a PB 245 AT over two pyro pelletts to kill and Alabama 4 point.
The bullett did not exit and was found in pieces.
I pushed it to hard.
I backed down to 80 - 85 loose powder and it preformed great on game.

I shot this bullet throua small tree into a doe. Bullet was found under the doe's hide on the opposite side. The tree was about 3 inches in diameter and I never saw it when I fired. This was a 245gr aerotip over 2 pellets of 777.

ive killed about 6 deer using powerbelts 245gr hollowpoints behind 110 triple 7. the bullets would usually be on the opposite side hide mushroomed pretty fair. they usually weighed out about 170 grains when recovered. i never had a deer travel more then 50 yards after being hit.
