I just ordered two of the hex head ones. They have the same number as on the Knight Rifle site. I measured the breech plug and (of course the nipple is missing) it is 1.503 according to the caliper. Hope that helps.

Was that a regular knight hotshot nipple that came apart like that?

That 85 grains of Triple Seven 2f and that 250 grain XTP has a pretty good bark to it. Should be all that is needed.
Cayugad, That's what I shoot in my Woverine and it's a deadly combination for whitetail. I've shot 1 1/2 to 2 inch groups at 100 yards with that load but I don't think I could do it with a 1x32 scope. Mine's fitted with a 3x9x42 scope and also uses the #11 precussion caps. Great shooting.
