Default Rings and Mounts

Which style do you prefer?
Weaver style is what i'm thinking for the Triumph.
All my centerfire rifles have the Leupold style.

I have the Leupold style on my Rem 700 and Weaver style on my Endeavor. I prefer the Weaver style.

I am not sure you can get a Leupold style base for Encore-Omega-Triumph... because of the distance between mounts that TC uses I think you have to go with a Weaver style rail mount. The rail allows you to put the rings in different locations.

I have the rail system on my Omega and Triumph

This is probably the strongest base available - but you can find it less expensive in other online locations...

Again not sure of the Leupold information...

I have the weaver aluminium base and Warner steel rings on the Omega the Triumph and the Endeavor and if I pick up an other one I shall do more of the same.
A tip on replaceable accuracy mounting.
After mounting the base securely put the bottom of the ring on the base shoved all the way back in the notch toward the rear of the gun so recoil can not flex them then put the scope on then the top of the rings. Then if you find it necessary to take the scope off for any reason slide it back snug against the rear of the slots and you POI will remain the same. Lee

Pretty sure the Omega, Encore and Triumph share the same scope mountings. I used to have the Weaver style 1 pc base and Warne Quick Detach low rings pictured here on my Omega:

They worked, but I prefer a lower mount. So I switched to the 1 pc Leupold base and dualdovetail low rings:

As already been said... the Weaver style has more options forscope placement.
