These hogs seem to favor the evening hours. The feeder goes off at first light and then 10 hours after that. They aren't showing until after 7:00PM.
Ah Ha! There's the reason. I cut my feeders off at the end of deer season so that I don't get a hog wallow on my food plot. Those stinky things messed up one of my feeder areas so bad two years ago that the deer would not go near it. The feeder was 85 yards from my stand and you could smell it from the stand.

We can shoot pigs all year, but not at night. Shooting hoursbegin 30 minutes before sunrise and end 30 minutes after sunset. I probably should set up a feeder on a shooting lane off to the side of the plot and put some pork in the freezer.

Good luck on the hunt.

I shoot the 275gr PBEs out of my PH using 110gr of BH209. Any results with this bullet would interest me. I also picked up some FPBs to try so I wouldn't mind info on those either. I would be shooting the FPBs slower, though.

I know you will try to recover bullets. Pictures of those would be great.

Shoot some Lehighs.
I almost mentioned that earlier but tensions have been a wee bit tight around here lately so I didn't want to stir up anything.

Man that looks like a lot of fun. I wish you success in your pork-reduction adventure.

I'm going to have to cast my vote for either the 250 grain Shockwaves (because of all the mixed reviews people give them) or the 350 FPB's, because they are new, and I haven't heard much about them. But whatever you use, I'm looking forward to the results!

Count another vote for the FPBs. I'm planning to try them out at the range on my Omega.

It's cool. I wouldn't have minded. It would be in good fun.... hopefully.... I don't have any Lehighs and really don't have any desire to shoot them.
