Cayugad's been around the barnyard a few times. If Dave says it works,,,it works. If Dave says it doesn't work,,it doesn't work....FOR HIM!! I trust his word as giving an honest opinion, and an honest range report...with HIS time spent.

Your mileage may vary. But don't criticize the man for sharing his knowledge or experience. I for one appreciate it. [8D]

This whole, where did you get the bullets from argument is a little childish. If you don't believe the guy, don't buy them. Dave's word is about as good as you can get on this board. Just because you get something for free doesn't mean you have to praise the product.

For instance: Batchief sent me some NoExcuses, the things patterned like a shotgun. Other people can shoot one hole groups with them.

geeze people...

Please point out where I questioned Daves integrity..... All I posted was a simple question. A simple response of "Yeah, I bought them" or "Someone sent them to me to test" would suffice. But you guys are getting all bent out of shape by doing the same thing you're accusing me of. Speculating.

That may be SWT, but your posting history makes the implication of your "simplequestion" pretty clear. Actually, it was an completely unnecessary question unless you're gunning for a fight. You made the bed. Don't complain if you don't like laying in it.

You gentlemen are the ones complaining. I asked a question and I was attacked for it. I'm not mad that you guys posted what you think (however wrong or misguided it is) but you are in fact making a mountain out of a mole hill. I didn't attack Dave or call him a liar. All I wanted to know is how he aquired the bullets for my own knowledge. Even if he said Grouse sent them to him, I wasn't going to call Dave out and start an e-fight with him. Like I stated earlier, I have a great deal of respect for Dave. He helped me tremendously when I first started with muzzleloaders.

For my part i will say you are exactly right... I was speculating what shoe might come next... I even admitted as much in a PM to Dave about this whole thing...

I think 'Semi's' qute below states exactly what i was thinking... your track record suggested to me that you were going someplace other than a simple question... if i were wrong I do applogize, but i still see no reason why how he got the bullets makes any difference in the target that he shot and even the explanation offered.
