Way to go grouse. I guess we don't need to speculate on those Lehigh bullets anymore- Huh? I guess they work.

Excellent report Grouse. Those Russians are sure big ugly old things. Do you have the weights on them? (At least no one commented on your Cabala's advertisement. )
Which is kind of funny since he posted a thread not too long ago asking if Cabelas was really for the muzzleloader shooter... But that's neither here nor there.

They will dont worry, mostly all my clothes are from there. Even casual, and office clothes. Big difference in that versus muzzleloading equipment.

I just finished reading thru everything. Told ya so.

Grouse very nice report with good details, how big is the ranch? Everything fenced in? How hard was the hunt....could my 65year old dad handle it? Anyone using archery equipment? I never hog hunted before but would like to try it.
The ranch is fenced in. I hunted the Hogs in 270 acres. A couple people harvested Hogs with Bows. Your 65 year young father could hunt there for sure. There are a couple spots that are easy to get to and the hogs could be pushed in there if needed.

I will take pics of bullets later. Just keep in mind, the bullets are not suppost to mushroom after the petals release from the bullet. These bullets performed exactly the way they are explained on the web-site. I also have pics of the internal damage i will put up later.

Since everyone is asking about bullets. They worked alot better then i even expected. Pics will be up later.

Did you get a break for giving them some publicity? LOL

Did you find a lot of fragmentation wound channels? It was my understanding that the bullets were made to break up a little. I was curious as to whether they did that or not.
The bullets performed exactly how they were supposed to. That proved to be very important on the gut shot hog.
