Chap I didn't intend my post to be critical. I did mention that I appreciated the effort and that this data would be a good 'general rule' to select a bullet/sabot combo.
Someone can check his bore diameter (if they have the capability) and make a selection a couple thousands over for a starting point.

I am sorry if I sounded critical. You made a good point onmeasurement procedures. I am assuming that whatever a person did was consistent as one could be with these things. I put the items down that I thought were important from a measurement point of view. I would like to check with the sabots I have and see what I get. It they are off bya lot then we have issues.I have a lot of different sabots, so I can check several of these things. I have a lot of different bullets also, so that might be helpful also to measure each bullet in each of the different sabots. Anyway, I listed my procedures, if you have anyhints on makint it more consistent, I would like to hear them.
