I went out to chase some hogs again this past Saturday with the Shadow and it kerplunked on me. I loaded it and placed a 209 primer inside but when I went to close it, it would not latch, so it looks like I will be sending it back to the company. I have not been impressed with the quality of the gun and am surprised to say that since I have heard so many good things about Knight rifles. In reading other reviews of the gun, it seems that others have had issues as well. I was curious if any of you have had dealings with Knight's customer service department? I was considering asking them if I could send in the rifle along with my receipt when it was purchased and have that amount applied to one of their better rifles, such asthe Knight Extremeand I would cover the remaining balance. Have any of you ever requested a refund or exchange towards another gun after a mechanical failure? Thanks for you input.

Tell em what happened and you'd appreciate a replacement ML (Different one) and that you were thinking of (posting Pics) of that ML on the internet forum and it's problem,Im sure a new one will be on it's way. And never mention covering the extra cost of anything. In this recession they need all the business they can muster, and if bad reviews start surfacing sales go way down.

Oh, them hogs your talking about are they the farrel Hogs? Im from the Northeast and we dont have em here, just the Big Fat Pigs on the Farms. Saw a Hunting Show the other day and all these places were overcome with them darn Hogs, they hunted em and were even setting up traps to catch the little buggers. Same Hogs??? BP

I will give them a call today and let you all know how it turns out. I feel that everything will work out fine, which is one reason I boughta Knight in the first place. They havea very good reputation and I would imagine that my experience and some of the others I have read about are not typical. I knew that I was buying their low end gun, but I expected it to last much longer than what it has and I know they expect the same. I have worked in manufacturing before and I understand that ,even with very good quality control standards, things happen sometimes. I will let you know how it goes.
