Default Anybody have an extra breech plug wrench for a CVA?

I just picked up a breech plug wrench (supposedly a universal one) and it doesn't work with my CVA ml. Just wondering if anybody had an extra one that they wouldn't mind parting with. I would be happy to pay shipping, and even a couple of $$ for your time.

I use a 1/4" drive 12mm socket on my Accura, works great.

Depending on which model you need, I am sure CVA would sell you one. When I asked for a trigger screw and they sent me a parts list and order form, a breech plug wrench was on that list for a CVA Staghorn Magnum. And I might add, that's a great wrench. I use that one on a lot of my other rifles as well because of its length.

My CVA Wolf takes the same, 12mm socket.

My breech plug has two indented notches on each side like screwdriver notches then the nipple goes in the middle.

That sounds like one of the older breech plugs because you can change from a #11 or musket cap or even a 209 primer with the right plug. I just purchased a breech plug for my staghorn. Not that I needed one, but the other one has had hundreds maybe even a thousand shots through it, and still it shows no wear. That to me is not normal. So since I had to purchase my one dollar screw, I ordered a breech plug from them at the same time.

If it is the breech plug I am thinking of..

the one end removes the nipple and the other end remove the breech plug. It comes with a small breaking bar and an allen wrench to remove the necessary bolts.. is this theone you need? Those are the CVA parts numbers. You could make one from some round stock if you are handy...

I just received the new 2009 Catalog from CVA and I see there discontinueing a couple of their ML's. The Kodiak Mag is gone and the Kodiak Pro is on it's way out with just the ss/bk and bl/bk models left, no camo/ss or laminated, there being replaced by the Elkhorn Pro. The Buckhorn has already replaced the Staghorn so I'd get what parts I can befor the stock runs low on the discontinued models if you need them. Now CVA's cheapest model is at $156.95 (Buckhorn) no more cheap priced ML's from CVA.
