I am droolin. I have the same gun in 50 cal. on back order. Got it mail order for 409.00-and hope to get it before the end of the month so I can get the 40.00 rebate.
Now I have to get a scope. I was thinking about camo, but yours looks HOT with the silver finish.
Lets hear and see from others that have the same gun.

Old/New,
WOW- that is a SWEET looking rifle. I've had my eye on those ever since they came out. Good shooting, but I'm sure the Accura has the potential to do much better. Here's some suggestions for loads to try out:
200 grain XTP w/blue Harvestor sabot - I get really good accuracy with this combo
200 grain SST/Shockwave with supplied sabot - best 100 yard group so far with this was 1.25"
195 grain .357 Dead Center - for me, 1.5" 100 yard groups if there's no wind & I do my part
I'd also play around with the powder charges - some rifles like more or less powder. Good luck!

dennvt.. I would contact CVA and tell them that I have the rifle ordered and it is on back order and I am concerned about the Rebate dead line. I am sure they might work that out for you there. Put your mind at ease you might say.

Regardless of when you receive the gun your receipt will state the purchase date being the day you ordered it.
Send in the receipt (original), bar code from the box (peel it off) and fill out the form. Send it all in with your warrenty card and you will get your rebate.

You are tenacious. [:-]
I will re-check mine. As I have said I usually use a one piece base. I may go back to it!
