knights 52cal rifles
I was on knights site today and saw where they are going to release an rollback in 52cal.
from what I have seen they are about the company that is pushing the 52cal barrel.
does anyone know if any other company trying to get an 52cal on the market.

No nobody else is trying to get in because it is a market that only exists as a figment of Knight Marketing's imagination. I thought they learned the first time they tried this but apparently not.
It's the old razor/razorblade marketing ploy. Sell you something you'll be forced to keep buying accessories for (that only Knight supplies), keeps the revenue coming in as long as you want to keep shooting it.
We have .50s and .54s, both with loads of components by numerous manufacturers. Why would anyone want to buy a .52 in between where components are limited, and what possible advantage over either of the other two calibers could they pretend exists?

I do have to agree that supplies are limited for this caliber but the ballistics are pretty impressive. With a 150 grains of powder and a 375 grain bullet(Knight Red Hot), muzzle velocity is 1938 feet per second with 3127 ft/lbs of energy. A friend at camp a few weeks ago had just purchase a Knight Revolution-2 and shot a doe with it. I was very impressed with the termial performance. The exit wound was massive.
