Bore cleaner

Has there been anyone to use BH 209 long enough to know the best bore cleaner?

BlackHorn 209 suggests Montana X-treme solvent. I used Hoppies #9 and Birchwood Casey Bore Scrubber. Both worked real good to take the Black Horn out of the barrel. The worst part to clean for me was the breech plug.

I've used Hoppes #9 and plain ol' rubbin' alcohol. Both work equally well for me.

RE: Bore cleaner

I run a patch - both sides-with simple green first to get out the bulk of
the fowling - anything wet would probably work for this.

Then a patch with the hoppes #9 - sometimes a second is needed, but not always.
Then an alchohol patch to remove all the #9.
Dry patch to dry the barrel and to verify dead clean.
Patch with Barricade/sheath - use same patch to wipe exterior and all other metal and done.

Montana Extreme , Montana BH209[ which is what they made for it but very had to get] and a 50 /50 mix of Hoppes #9 and alcohol which is what I like best it cheap very effective dries very fast and I have been using it for some time with no problems, I think it cleans better and faster than any thing else I have tried. While cleaning the rifle, I boil some water, put the bp in a can in the sink with a little dish soap and pour the water over it.
After cleaning the barrel, I rinse the bp, open the primer end with a 1/8 drill bit, clean the outside with qtips and a tootbrush.
Dry well and run the patch with the Barricade over it.
