I'm a little latein getting in on all this, but I'm guessing that's ok. Prayers are sent.

I just talked to Karen (my Wife)
The night nurse let her stay in the room with Kelly
They are decreasing the meds every 2 hours (he coma is now medicaly induced) and Kelly is waking up,her eyes are as they should be
She can respond to verbal commands except is very weak on her left side.She cant talk,she has a tube in her throat.
She is wiggling toes and squeezing fingers and moving eyes as directed.
When asked if she was in pain she squeezed twice for BAD PAIN.
Pain is her friend at this point.
After these tests she is put back under so she can rest.

This is great news..

GOD IS GOOD

P.S. The boy's parents have hired a lawyer for him.
Apparently the state of NC will be filing charges for DUI and werckless endangerment and indiference.

I have yet to decide if any action should come from us.
If the boy is allowed to get a slap on the wrist he will learn nothing.

Faith in God is so important and a the great support of people from all over is showing right here on this web site.

We will all continue to pray for your daughter and for YOU and your family. You are showing strength and courage through a extremely trying time.

Just getting back to the computer after 2 weeks away. Sorry to hear about your daughter's accident but glad to see she is progressing the right direction. Prayers will be headed your way from all in my family. Keep your head up as well as your faith, God's will will be done. (Rom 8:28)
