Well
Miricals do happen
Yesterday Kelly's meds were reduced again and she woke up.
After about an hour her hands stopped shaking and she was able to write.
The vent was removed and a valve put back on her trach, she can whisper.
She remembers everything.
By the afternoon PT came in with a wheeled walker and she tood up and took a short walk.
Later that day she walked again and ate some grits.
This morning she texted me from her phone "Good Morning I Love You"
Brought me to tears.
She has been moved out of med ICU and into a regular room.
She started today with two waks and more grits.
Things are looking up
Huge AMEN, we will keep praying for her full and complete recovery. In Christ, Chap

An early Christmas present! Even better if she makes it home.

Kelly was moved to the Rehab floor last night because she is doing so well.
She starts the rehab this morning.

Saxman I thank God as we all do that Kelly continues to recover. Just like Job you went through some trying times but God is seeing and will see you through.

Very happy for her and your whole family. Rehab is a long and frustrating road (my father-in-law just had a stroke and my wife flew down to help him start rehab, he's VERY frustrated and angry) but she has already proven that she is a tough fighter so I am sure she will handle it like a champ.
