RE: Prayer Request / Update 12/01
Kelly is awake today and PISSED OFF according to Karen
She is writing better and want to go home.
It is just sinking in what happened to her.
Pissed off is good

Most of the shaking of her hands has stopped and she is communicating through writing and they put a valve on her Trach.
PT came down with a wheeled walker and she got up and walked.
Speech Therapy came and let her eat pureed foods.
and she is STILL PISSED OFF

Pissed off is a sign of being strong to me... so is standing up etc, very good news. Looks like the overall direction is forward!
I check back here every day more for this than ML posts now...very good to hear positive happenings.

Well
Miricals do happen
Yesterday Kelly's meds were reduced again and she woke up.
After about an hour her hands stopped shaking and she was able to write.
The vent was removed and a valve put back on her trach, she can whisper.
She remembers everything.
By the afternoon PT came in with a wheeled walker and she tood up and took a short walk.
Later that day she walked again and ate some grits.
This morning she texted me from her phone "Good Morning I Love You"
Brought me to tears.
She has been moved out of med ICU and into a regular room.
She started today with two waks and more grits.
Things are looking up
