I had one, but I never could work up a load for it. I tried everything. Different bullets, different powder, pellets and loose powder, even different primers. No matter what combo I tried, it just wouldn't make any type of group. Also I had to get a new scope for it because the one that came on it cracked a lens, I thought maybe it was just a lemon scope and that was why I could never get a good group out of it. So I tried shooting it without a scope, just the iron sights, and then with another scope on it... Same deal, nothing would group. Nothing would shoot better than a softball sized group at 25 yards, and nothing would consistantly hit paper at 50 yards. I never had that problem with a muzzleloader before so I thought maybe there was a crack in the barrel or something, but I inspected the barrel and bore and everything looked good. In the end I spent almost as much on powder and bullets and cleaning supplies as I did on the gun and all I got was a nasty sunburn from being on the range so long. I gave up on it and gave the gun to my neighbor.

The next day I bought an Omega and haven't missed the Yukon at all. That being said, everyone else I know of who bought the Yukon have never had any problems with them. Mine was just a lemon. A rare miss for Traditions.

I've had great luck with my Yukon. I don't shoot it much anymore, but 100 grains of Pyro RS and a 240 xtp shot really well for me. Neat little gun, I like the action, and you get a lot of gun for not a lot of money.

I bought one for just about a hundred dollars new in box a week ago, unfortunatly it rained last weekend so I could not shoot it. Overall I really like the gun, the only question I have is about the drop block, it looks a little rough, although it seems to work ok. I think if it had been machined and the fit was just a smidge better, this might be my favorite gun. It sure balances well and the stock fits me well. Can't wait to throw a few downrange with it, but archery opens tomorrow, so it will be a week or two.
