Default Loose Triple Seven Powder for Encore

Anyone shoot loose Triple Seven powder in there encore. I am using 250 gr bullets and would like to find out what amount of powder works well. I was thinking about starting with 100grns of powder. Any suggestions??

Do not have an Encore, got a few other models including an Omega, the 100 grain start is really a good load. It may not be your best load only a little experimenting will tell for sure. In my Omega, I am at 110 grains T-2f shooting either a .452/250 Gold Dot, .451/260 Nosler or even the 300 grain varieties.

Good luck shooting it is really fun to work up a load that works for you.

Thanks for the info. Is 110 loose powder equal to the equivalent of 3 pellets???

It is real close 110 and a 300 gr hornady xtp works well in my encore.

theoretically, 127 grains of T7-2f is equal to 150 grains of BP or pellet power. 117 grains of T7-3f is about 150 grains of BP or pellet power.

Even then you need to know that there is a T7 magnum pellet out there that is stronger than the normal pellet.
