Scope for Pro Hunter
#1
I'm about to purchase a TC Pro Hunter and would love to top it off with a Leupold VXII 3X9 since I will eventually purchase a additional barrel and have a back-up caliber to compliment my 30.06. Will that scope stand up to the recoil of shooting magnum loads of black powder with that being the primary use of the weapon? I really don't want to purchase a "muzzleloader" scope. Thanks in advance for any input.

I've got the exact same scope on my Mustang. I have a little over 600 shots out of it with some very stout loads. No problem! Great scope. I also have one on a Browning 1885 45-70 that I've shot dinosaur killing loads out of. Again, no problem.
