Has anyone purchased a Bergara barrel for thier T/C Encore or heard feedback fromsomeone who had purchased one, I'm interested in knowing what they had to say.

I watched a vidieo where they were making them. It sure looked good. I don't know, but I would guess they might shoot better than TC. I would have tried one, but they didn't have the calibers and barrel lengths I wanted. I ended up ordering a stainless 22 inch 222, and a stainless 25 inch in 257 Ackley from the custom shop. I hope they are good shooters. The 222 should be here this week. The 257 will be about four more weeks.

I sold my 209X50 barrel for my Encoreand I never should have. I watched the Begara show on TV too and they seemed pretty impressive. If I get a few more of my muzzleloaders moved out, I just might break down and order myself one.

I hope this stays live as I have seen others on this forum who did not ike the Bergara. I want to say something sbout testing procedures in the USA vs. Spain? I don't want to start on it as I don't have the whole story.

Buck Hunter 1,
I know where you're coming from and I'm somewhat concerned about the different testing procedures. I'm looking at a used T/C Encore barrel in classifieds now and I'd prefer to stick with T/C, but I haven't ruled out the Bergara yet either.
