My wife seems to be getting in the "spirit" of things. She usually jokes about me getting ready...this year she is asking all sorts of good questions. She even bought a new freezer!!

Electric and have a deer cutting party. Make a big pot of deer chili, keg and mix some pork suasage in w/that deer meat. Do it like Cayudad suggest everyone has a job. Vacum packing is great.

I actually bought the attachment for myself, to use with her mixer...

Nope, didn't buy her any rifles...Don't want to spend that much money!!!

Electric is the way to go. I use the fine cutting plate and put it through twice.
Somecutting platescan rust so store them in oil.
$75 - $100 for a good one, andan aluminum head will save some money overstainless steel. Circuit City online has a Panasonic modelthat's highly rated with free shipping for about $95.

Also, many models to choose from on the shopping search engines and Google.
