Default New Toys

Today I went to Gander Mountain and bought a portable adjustable shooting bench and a Caldwell Lead Sled (no lead yet)

I already have the crony and spoting scope.
I hope my crony is ok,I was trying to get readings at the muzzle the other day and the skirt from the 270 plat hit the screen.
I guess I need to put a shield up.

Now that I have the bench and lead sled I feel confident enough the place the crony by the target.
I was afraid I would shoot it the other day

I will look for the 270 skirt tomorrow.

You don't need lead fill it with sand bags. Lead shot bags are 50.00 apiece now

I saw that at the store,WOW
I have a few iron plate weights laying around and I hope to use those if they will fit in the sled part

Find your self a tire shop and get some wheel weights I cast mine into 1 lb ingots and use them. You could also use a sand cast to make them the right size.
