anyone out there got a load they like in a triumph.
I am thinking of using the super glide 250s shockwavesfrom tc and unsure of a charge everone say not to use 150 grains but tc says the gun was made for 150 grains with a 250 grain shockwave and that is what the omega bdc scope calles for

You may or may not get accuracy at 150 grains, many do not. I feel that accuracy is more important than maxing out the velocity, especially if you plan on shooting more than 100 to 150 yards. As for the Nikon Omega BDC scope, it is set up for a 250 shockwave style bullet at 2000 to 2100 feet per second, this may or may not match up to 150gr of powder depending on the gun used so don't caught in the hype of the press release because your gun may not match it. The gun and scope combination is a good setup but the aim points on the scope still have to be verified with the load you work up and shoot at the different ranges to make sure. Good luck with it.

One other thing, If you back off to 100 grains of 777 you'll be in the 1750 to 1800 fps range. With a 6" point blank range sight in (3" high at 75 yards) you can still use the BDC scope but the 150 aim point becomes a 175, the others stay the same (give or take an inch or so).

Most find out that their gun is more accurate with a load between 90gr to 110gr of powder , BUT your gun is the only thing that will tell you what powder load it likes, My knight disc extreme MHC is rated for 150gr also but with a 300gr bullet the sweet spot is 95gr 2fg 777. But my best overall load is 90gr with a 460gr NEBullshop Conical and I wouldn't be afraied of taking a 150yd shot with this load, but like to keep them @ 80yds or less
I have never owned a ML that would shoot a 150gr charge worth a hoot.

Guns that look identical wont necessarily shoot the same load so throughly test everything.
As a starting point this is what my Triumph likes.
250 Gold Dot- 110 gr BH or 777 some groups under 3/4 minute of angle under most conditions, most one hole groups have been with BH209
200gr SW 50/40 110 or 120 BH209 one ragged hole to one and a quarter
300 Gold Dot-100gr BH or 777 one to 1.25
250 SW -110gr BH or 777 one to 1and a half inches
300gr SW 110 gr BH one and a half
Hornady FPB 350gr 100 or 110gr one inch
Since I am over 70 and my eyes have been giving me trouble a better shooter could do better with the same gun and loads. Lee
