Well I did a little more looking into this rifle.. it will shoot pellets, it has a 1-28 twist, and is made for shooting conicals and sabots... There is a whole different manual for the BLACK MOUNTAIN MAGNUM on line and talks about the different loads..

This is a very interesting rifle. And to think I just bought another rifle.. I kind of like the ideas this rifle might present. I can't wait to get it on the range. Good thing I bought $65.00 worth of shockwaves today too..

Way to go Dave - You did the right thing by taking it home. And I do know what you mean by walking into a store like that.
I went into one last week and saw a Renegade 50 in pretty good shape for $195. The next time I head down that way - if its still there - i might ask how much he will take for it. If I do get it then I will have a Renegade in 45, 50 and 54.

Well Dave
You did it again I gues neither of us can resist a good deal. I bought 4 pkg of 444 powerbelts fron Cabela's at 798 per ack for the New DeerStalker. This should be a interesting gun should shoot sabots well. Good Luck

So, I was just thinking, and I know you thin you're doing the right thing by bringing home all those unwanted and unused ML's. But like animal hoarders, you reach a point where even though you think you're doing the right thing, you're actaully doing them a great disservice by not being able to give each one of them the proper care, attention, and love necessary for them to live each day with a high quality of life they need to feel good about themselves and know that you really care about them.

I hate to be so tough on you, but I think this has been a long time in coming. I really think the only right thing to do is to admit you have a problem, and then allow me and maybe a couple others here help you re-home a few of your ML's to homes where they really will get the care and attention they need.

We're here for you and have the best interest of you and you "pets" in mind.

Vince

That is so nice of you SuperKirby. I am up to the challenge. Granted some are shot more then others, but I still manage to get to most of them each month...

Something is definitely amiss here! You must have the blessing of the ML Gods, because you seem to always trip over these good deals. I think you should take a trip to Vegas with your luck!

Now as to the matter at hand. I shouldthink the TC Maxi Hunter should shoot very well. I have had some great success with them in my Hawkin carbine with a 1in24" twist. The Shockwaves will do good also, but with a lot more trouble getting them down the barrel though. Love the Maxi Hunters for ease of loading.

Good shooting and hunting luck with the new acquistion my firiend.
