Sounds like a good deal. although I recommend knowing before buying next time. Sounds like you aren' t quite sure where to begin. So lets start with bullet selection: Roundball, sabot, or conical - that depends on the twist rate of your gun -which I don' t know right off hand, but it should be stamped on the barrel or you can get it from Traditions. A 1:48 twist is sort of a middle of the road twist and will handle all bullets well enough for hunting. Faster twists (1:32) do better with the conicals and sabots, 1:60 is pretty much the universal twist for roundball only factory guns. Plus if you' re going to be hunting you need to make sure whatever you use is legal - some states retrict type of projectiles that are legal for ML hunting, all states have minimum caliber and bullet weight restrictions. Get a good book on muzzleloading (Sam Fadela' s comes to mind) and try to find someone that shoots them that can help you out. Post specific questions here and get the opinions of many. Go to my site and you can find some good information on how to get started. Good luck and keep us posted.
