Default got my new englander fix

my father in law fixed my new englander today. and did a little modding on the nipple. made my tc hot shot that I have on it into an hollow based nipple. shot one blank charge. no delay. another problem came up. the barrel is loose in the stock. I think I have asked about this sometime but can't remember.

I am thinking of just getting a new wedge pin for it. I am planning a head if that don't fix it.

what would the next step if the new wedge pin don't work?

Just use a small punch or flathead screw drive and slightly dip the center inward. Just a little at a time until your wedge pin is a touch more than snug. Go slow.

I try that when I get home. hell this new englander may end up like my knight, fight with it, about to give up, then have it shot just about anything that I put in it.

I got a great look down the barrel today as well, sob is pit badly. I am going to run some more jb paste throw and see if I can get it a little better.

fg, is that a browns pin.

I think I am going to send the lock to tc. barrel I am not to worried about. if I can get it to shot 2 in at 50yrds I be happy. that is about as far as I welling to shot open site at this point. just need to sight the "witch" with a b in with round ball then turn to something else. most likely powerbelts if not that the more forgiving sabots loads. got a chit load of cheapshots.

have to be hard headed and do most the work on it myself. everyone on here knows why by now.

broke down email tc about the lock, it is the only thing really bothering me right now. to many small parts.

after thinking about it, I am going to send the lock and barrel. I should just send the whole thing to them, save me the trouble of braking it down, finding an box, and packing it. thanks to fg, I got a box that I can send the whole gun in with very little trouble
