What A Bummer
I'm heading for the hunting lease shooting range tonight for a weekend of shooting. I've been waiting for my .45 caliber 1:28" twist Renegade barrel from Green Mountain, and hoping it would get here today so I could take it with me.
Well, lo-and-behold, the big brown truck pulled up about fifteen minutes ago and out walks the driver with my barrel in hand. Man, I'm grinning. Check the box labeland it says "Replacement Barrel, TC Renegade LRH Prec. Blue. .45 caliber 1:30" Twist. 28". Well, I thought it was supposed to be 1:28" twist, but 1:30" is fine.
Open the box. Beautiful. Great sights - not fiber optic. Delrin rod with threaded brass thimbles on both ends. Hey, WAIT! That bore is a lot bigger than .45. HEY! There's no rifling. Check the stamping on the barrel - it say 62 CAL. A .62 smooth bore -what a bummer! I'll be calling Kerry at GM as soon as I hit the OK button for this post.
EDIT: Tried to call. Too late - GM closes at 11 a.m Eastern on Friday. Oh well, Monday will do.

Semi - you said in your initial post that you really didn't want the .45 anyway - right. That really is strange - but I'm positive GM will take care of it for you.
And Yes, 1:30 is the twist rate for the .45. That's what mine is. Its been shooting good with the T/C maxiballs that I casted. I cousin is into cowboy shooting and next time he comes in he is going to bring me some 200 gr .451" and some 405 gr .458" to try in it.

Well, I spoke to Ms. Kerry this morning - what a sweetheart. She says "oh my goodness, how could that happen?" Anyway, they are sending the correct barrel along with a shipping label for return of the smooth bore. I couldn't talk her into sending a .54 slow twist instead.
