RE: tc triumph
Semisane, the 250GD has two thing going for it,first it will shoot a 1/2 inch group when every thing is right especally the wind, second every thing I have shot [deer and boar] has dropped on the spot, I still use the 300GD [.454 version] for elk and big bear and if I get a chance at moose or buffalo. 1) Acronis TrueImage Home, which you can buy here for $35:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832200004
2) External USB drive, such as this for < $100:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148257
(I like Seagate because they have a 5 year warranty)
You can of course buy a bigger drive, but in most cases the 120G is enough for your C: and your data. Back it up with a full image. Instructions on how to do that are here:
http://www.ugr.com/nl0907b.html
So if you buy Acronis and a USB backup, you will not have this happen to you again. Do it now, it is only $100 and it will save your butt the next time it happens.
