1-150yards, even 175 yards for me would be a .45 pushing a 225g powerbelt with 80g t7 or 90g pyrodex select.
.50cal with 223g powerbelt, same charge.
All bullets are expensive these days. Its amazing how much prices have shot up. Almost $3.80 a gallon here.
I still get my powerbelts for $14 to $17 at the local shops. They keep'em in stock so thats a good thing.

More platinums. I found a plastic container that an apple tree came in so i may set that up at my 100 yard range and give everything a try.
I want to see how my 80g charge does at that range with the 245 and 295g powerbelts.
But for now, i am going to fire that bullet i made last night and see what it does. Then switch over to the great plains rifle. I need to get that on sight as hunting season is right around the corner.
Do any good turkey huntin?
