Default Range report

Alright, finally made it to the range. This is the 3rd shooting with the Omega X7. Went to Williams Gunsight witha lb of 777 & various bullet. Well geuss what they had on the shelf, BH209, Figured Id give it a try.
got on paper at 100yardsAll groups are outside to outside

100grains bh209 250grn hornady xtp 3 different 4 shot groups
Group 1 just under 2 inches shouda been under 1 inch but had a flyer, me not the gun
Group 2 1 1/2inch ragged hole
Group 3 2 1/2 inch group shoulda been 1 1/2 group but had a flyer again me not the gun
I tried out 6 of the .40 cal 180 grain gold dots with the blue sabots over 75 grains bh209. wasnt exspecting much. All 6 went into a 4 inch group 8 inches higher than the 250 xtps. . I was pretty happy with my groups. This X7 is a hard gun to shoot from the bench. Its gonna be great out of a treestand but its a bit short for me on the bench. Thats my excuse[8D]

Good report burntmuch, and good shooting.

I have only one in-line and no particular desire for another, except maybe the X7. What a sweet little walk-around gun. Was very tempted by one in the Bargain Cavethe last time I was at Cabelas.

What was the over-the-counter price of that BH?

$37 Pricey but I knew it was gonna be a couple days before I could get to cleaning my guns. Semisane the X7 is a sweet little gun carries real nice. I bought it cause Im hoping to do a Colorado ML hunt in the next couple years. Plus alot of the hunting I do is out of a canoe. Nice little gun. I told myself if it does at least 4 inch groups at 100 yds. Its hunting this year
