Default WINCHESTER APEX

I purchased a new in the box Winchester Apex .50calfrom a co-worker a couple months ago. I mounted a 3-9X40 Bushnell Elite 3200 on it.
I finally had a chance to shoot it two weeks ago after bore sighting.
I started out with 85gr of Triple-7 ffg on the first 6 shots then bumped it up to 90gr for the last 4 shots. I was using the Triple-7 primers and Fusion 260gr sabots. The last three shots were in an area the size of the bottom of a pop can at 50yds at the point of aim.
Now that the scope is sighted I am looking forward to fine tuning the loads and seeing how it shoots at 75-100 yds.
Fun gun to shoot.

Yep i own the .45 Apex, Awesome shooting rifle aint they? Try some Powerbelts and see how they shoot. Along with the 385g and 410g hornady great plains conicals. The conicals might prefer Pyrodex.
