These are about as close to a real Hawken that you can find in non-custom rifles. They have the GP Hunter, which has a twist fast enough for conicals or sabots. But I would get the one with round-ball twist, in flintlock and .54 caliber, and shoot round balls in it. They are nice rifles!!

I saw one for sale on Gunbroker.com or Auctionarms.com for $240 that the guy claims is in new condition. It' s a 50 percussion.

There is a very nice one in my local pawn shop right now for $150. You guys are making me think I should pick it up even though I already have three in-lines. You' uns are a baaad influence.

also you might wanna compete in a blackpowder shoot at a local club, and they don' t usually allow anything but patched round ball.
