Did TC us a one size fits all stock and let the barrel determine what the gun was? That is the spittin image of my white mountain with a longer barrel.

Not exactly.. one stock does not fit all. Some of their stocks are cut to fit a 1" on the flats, like the Renegade and the .54 caliber Hawkins. Some are 15/16th on the flats like the .50 and under Hawkins, White Mountain, Pennsylvania, Cherokee, Seneca, also some barrels start out octagon and turn round, some are all octagon. So while all the stocks are not alike, they are similar in most cases. I do believe the locks are interchangeable, but don't quote me on that. When it gets here, if the 15/16th barrel from my Hawkins fits it, I would know more, and if it does (since it is a flintlock) I might order another barrel from GMB for it as well. I also hope the 12 gauge barrel off my New Englander fits it, so I have some wood on my shotgun...

But I am kind of guessing you are right in that, they are the same stock as the White Mountain Carbine.

Dave I sure hope it fits I want to use my nw GM 21 inch in the big B That is the same as yours except flint right.

Yes, as far as I know your rifle coming is a Pensylvania Hunter flintlock.. so it should be the exact same thing as mine except a different ignition... When mine shows up, I will check it with the carbine barrel for you.

Deep in the recesses of my memory is the notion that some, if not all, PA Hunters were smoothbores, because PA did not allow rifled bores in their muzzleloading season. I think that has now changed.

That may or may not be the case.
