OK as a few of you know i have been looking at what muzzle loader to buy .
So i went into gander to look at the omega and triumph
I walk up to the guy at the firearms desk say hey i want to see a triumph and a omega.
First he say oh no can not do that we do not have any triumph due to they stopped making them. i ask if they could get one he said maybe maybe not. I asked how much he say price last year for a triumph with weather shield and camo 575.
HE goes to his computer to check avail. they have non like he said and might be able to get one. for 675. a 100 bucks more then last years.
Which i found it on 4 websites for around 425 to 475 . so there 200 higher at this point.
He then says the quit selling them due to there junk and old and not up to date.
I say where are the omegas he says over there. does not even go show me or nothing.
I go over see the omega sticker on a thump hole wood gun.
Guest what is beside it not one but two triumphs.
one camo with weather shield and one black
The camo is priced at 575 still 100 high but 100 less then what he said.
I go tell him he is like oh OK so what
he did not say so what but god help him if he would have.
I look them both over i like the triumph better as far as look and feel.
But they both feel like 22 rifles small and hard to hold.
I mean come on is he stupid or lazy or both
Also since all this not sure i buy what he had to say as far as gun safes either.
He said you do not want a digital push button safe like one with 0123456789 on it
since some one can hook up a computer and change the combo and take your guns
has anyone else heard this

I'd have to say that you spoke to someone with VERY little experience. Some of the first triumps ive heard had issues with the speed breech and the finish coming off. But thats kind of what you'd expect with a new product. Things have to be out on the market so you can fine tune the issues. But yeah, the guy you talked to seems to not be up to date.

After this idiot gave you bum/useless info on the Triumph, why would you take anything the jerk told you as possible fact???
And why didn't you go to the store manager and relaythis conversation to him about this clerk? He needstoknow this so his store cangivethe best serviceto his customers. I know I would want to know.
Now as tosafes. I own two Liberties and love themboth. I have the regular tumbler style with a five number combo. The digital has only one advantage overteh tumbler style. You canchange yourcombination. The tumbler style you musrt have a lock smith do it for you. As to the computer and someone changing the combo, I neverheard thatone. Why go through all that when you can do it without one from the inside.

You want to have the facts and some fun at the same time... call T/C Arms on Monday and ask to talk to someone in charge. Tell them an employee at Gander Mountain told you that the Triumph was defective, and that you wanted the truth. Also that he claimed he could not get anymore of them in stock. Then add that as much as you wanted to get one, you might be a little concerned and get a Knight instead. Then listen to them at T/C. It would be a lot of fun. If they admit the rifle is defective, it would surprise me. But I am sure they would love to know of a Gander Mountain bad mouthing their rifles..
As for that safe, I do not know of too many burglars willing to carry around a notebook computer and take the time to crack your code. Most of them use pry bars and cutting torches. And I also wonder how they plug into the tumblers in the first place... I've never seen the safe you are talking about, so maybe there is a USB port or something on the safe. Why, I could not think of a reason.
I suspect you ran into a employee that knows little or nothing other then what he has heard from people talking over the counter to him. Also he has no real knowledge of the companies and the products they sell or he would have known he had a couple of the shelf. So you were lucky enough to draw a idiot.
