I think that by attaching a light to a sight might just be illegal here in Canada. With the exception of racoon huntin at night. I too, thought of the bore light. hmmmmm.......

What suprised me was puting it in back I did not know they would even work that way, I have put them in front and completely covered the sight and the light with a peice of duck tape. We have used them in our fishing jugs to make them easy to find at night and for bore lights, and marking the trail to the deer stand when hunting away from home[ they are easy to spot driving down a dark road early in the morning]. I've also seen plans for using those lights to make a lighted nock for arrows. I like the idea of a bore light! I'll have to see if my local sport shop has them.

I got it from anAcadamy Sports store in my area. They're a chain in only about five or six states, mostly Gulf coast but I think Missouri also. They were $3.25 with tax. I would suspect any sporting good store with a large assortment of fishing tackle may have them. I haven't checked WallyWorld - but it's a possibility. Cabalas has them for $3.99
