Default Where to buy .45 sabots?

A question for any of you out there. First of all, does anyone know where to buy a .45/.357 or .358sabot? I heard that MMP makes them, but I haven't seen them anywhere - I've checked Mid South and Midway USA, neither of them carry it. I know Cableas sells the "Dead Center" with a .45/.357 or .358 option, but thats with the bullet included, I just want the sabot.

Also, has anyone ever found a .45/.410 sabot to shoot .41 magnum bullets? I don't know if it exists, just curious.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

mmp is the only place I found. I just bought, last month a .45 Kodiak to play with. A local gun shop had some Knight .45 to .357 but I think it was and old pack and Knight discontinued selling them. Prbullet.com I think will sell you the sabots. My initial test the bullets aren’t grouping that well.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I did find some .45/.357 sabots at the MMP website- I'm going to order some to play around with. Indiana, I use almost exactly the same load in my CVA right now- getting good accuracy and have taken several deer with it. However, I like tinkering around, and there's way more bullet selection in .357 cal than in .400 cal - thought I'd give it a try.

FYI Del Ramesy of MMP sabots, makes both the Blue and the PRBullet's Orange 45/375 sabot. The PRBullet Orange is much longer than the Blue and works better with most 200g and larger/longer .458 rifle bullets. That said, you must order them from PRBullet, cause of the propriotory rights to the Orange.

You can get the shorter Blue directly from Del/MMP.

It will cost you almost $10 more for your Orange sabot order-for shipping in a padded UPS envelope-Post marked from Pembina ND.[:'(] Maybe you could Request a different form of shipment when you talk to Cecil Epp /PRBullet

Side note:
You can send a .360 Round Ball in the MMP Blue sabot, pushed by 150g powder at about 2850fps, with 1inch groups at 75 yards

Or same load with 15g powder/980-1000fps and 1inch groups at 50yards for small game
