Default This ain't easy...

The area of the garage designated for guns hasbeen a jumbled bump of stuff for too long. Especially the chest of drawers where I keep cleaning supplies, tools, parts and other stuff.

So with the wife and kid gone for a few days, I am resisting the urge to watch the military channel and instead reorganizing "the gun area."

For enduring this hell, I have promised myself that I will get to the range tomorrow and do my "homework."

In the mean time, should the bullet pouch go with "parts" or with "ammo"? The mainspring vise, is that a "tool" or a "part"? And just wtf do I do with the 1" flints I mistakenly ordered?

Ugh!

Ammo
Tool
Set them up so the extra is on the outside and shoot them.
or conversely, buy a new rifle to fit the flints.Of course you would have to add new things to your gun bench.

I just dread digging into my cabinets and tool boxes... I know the feeling. Have fun at the range.

I know what you mean. I put it off until stuff is jumbled up and falling over and I have no choice but to neaten things up a bit. On the other hand, there always seems to be a pleasant surprise with something I bought, put away, and forgot about. I recently discovered a box of 320 grain Lee REALs that I bought from Black Jack Hill to try in my Mustang, but forgot all about.
