1st ML Knight Origonal Disc .50 cal, Nosler 300g HG, 100g 777, crushed rib sabot, federal primer, RMC Sports V-peep open sights. Keep this as backup gun or lender for young folk. Noslers sighed in:

TC Omega with 3x9 Bushness Elite, 300g Nosler Partition HG, 100g 777, crushed rib sabot, federal primer. Will use this in ML season. Sighted in with Noslers:

Savage 10ML2, SS3x9 Bushnell Elite Firefly, 275G Parker Ballistic Extreme,MMP12 Sabot, Federal primter,44g of 5744 Accurate Arms smokeless powder. Changing to some form of Barnes--either Origonal Barnes, Barnes Flat Base (much like Barnes MZ) or Barnes PBX (the pistol X-bullet). Will use this in Rifle season and 1st Rifle season in Co for Elk. this is now my CF rifle, i.e. like Ruger #1 only front loader.

Latest shot with the 10ML2: http://www.the-gleasons.com/Barnes%20Origonals%20300g%2044g%20of%20AA%205744%2 0Federal%20209a%20different%20sabots%202008_03_01. pdf

TC Flintlock 50 cal, 1:48 twist, 80g Goex, Speer GoldDot300g with Crushed Rib sabot. Bought aGreen Mountain Barrel 1:28 for this rifle. Here is a picture of the GM barrel on a new TC Stock that I received today from TC.

Currently my setup is:

.45 Cascade magnum (bolt-action)
Bushnell 3x9 scope
10mm XTP (200 grain)
80 grains loose 777 FFg
MMP sabot
Federal 209A primer

I'd like to work up a new load for next season, though.

From oldest to newest,

CVA Magbolt 150 blue/black 50 with A1optics BDC 3x9. Shoots many loads from PRB to 460 conicals and 777 powder.

CVA Bobcat 50 with adjustable rear sight (younger son's). Shoots PRB well at around 80 to 90 grains of Pyrodex P.

CVA Bobcat 54 with fiber optic sights (older son's). Shoots PRB well with 80 to 110 grains of Pyrodex P.

CVA Optima blue/black50 with A1optics BDC 3x9 (younger son's). Shoots 250 SW with 80 to 100 grains Pyrodex P

CVA Bobcat 50 all stock. This is my test rifle that I used for proof testing the barrel.

Winchester Apex camo/SS 50 with A1optics BDC 3x9 (older son's). Shoots 250SW, 285 Barnes and 460 conicals well with 80 to 130 grains of powder (depending on the bullet).

Lyman GPR/GPH 54/50 with adjustable sights (54) and 57/17 peep setup (50). The 54 shoots PRB well with 85 to 110 grains of 3F, The 50 shoots 460 conicals into under an inch at 100 with 70 grains of 777.

Just got a White .504 Ultramag with fiber optic sights. Stilll working on loads for it.

Eventually I want to get a flintlock but I need to wait on that.

ORIGINAL: frontier gander

Wow, 300 yard shots with an inline muzzy loader. And they try telling us that inline muzzleloaders have no advantage over the traditional muzzleloader

Traditions kentucky .50 flintlock
Deer Creek .45 Percussion
CVA Bobcat .50 percussion
Lyman Great Plains .54 Flintlock
Belgium .54 Flintlock " no clue what the name of it is"
TC Hawken .50 Percussion "Been in TC hands for almost a MONTH now[:@]"

Traditions Flinter,

Deer Creek .45 with 225 grain Powerbelt,

Top to bottom,
Kentucky, Deer Creek and the Lyman Great Plains "work in progress"

Very bottom is the Belgium .54 Smoothbore flintlock i picked up not to long ago. That One will be stripped and restored after the GPR is done,
Yup ...one bad smokepole...truth is that the bullets and the twist make the difference. The only problem is that you lose some flexibility in what you can play with. With pistol bullets I really need to back down the juice so they are not overdriven. But truthfully I like that this gun is setup for major pain...It loves all .358 dia jacketed bullets in the MMP blue sabots way better than SST's ...the 225 Nosler Partition is deadly under 150gr of T7...only 150fps behind a .358 Winchester...wish they made some .375/45 sabots..
