Default RE: What is your muzzleloader setup?

ORIGINAL: frontier gander

Wow, 300 yard shots with an inline muzzy loader. And they try telling us that inline muzzleloaders have no advantage over the traditional muzzleloader

Traditions kentucky .50 flintlock
Deer Creek .45 Percussion
CVA Bobcat .50 percussion
Lyman Great Plains .54 Flintlock
Belgium .54 Flintlock " no clue what the name of it is"
TC Hawken .50 Percussion "Been in TC hands for almost a MONTH now[:@]"

Traditions Flinter,

Deer Creek .45 with 225 grain Powerbelt,

Top to bottom,
Kentucky, Deer Creek and the Lyman Great Plains "work in progress"

Very bottom is the Belgium .54 Smoothbore flintlock i picked up not to long ago. That One will be stripped and restored after the GPR is done,
Yup ...one bad smokepole...truth is that the bullets and the twist make the difference. The only problem is that you lose some flexibility in what you can play with. With pistol bullets I really need to back down the juice so they are not overdriven. But truthfully I like that this gun is setup for major pain...It loves all .358 dia jacketed bullets in the MMP blue sabots way better than SST's ...the 225 Nosler Partition is deadly under 150gr of T7...only 150fps behind a .358 Winchester...wish they made some .375/45 sabots..
