it may not see much hunting unless I go somewhere that don't allow inlines or va changes it's regs. I am planning on taking out a few days next season.

Looks like a fine job of salvaging the stock!
That should certainly pass as "done", unless you get to thinking about the inlays to cover the damage as was suggested in another thread.
A silver serpent or dragonon the fore-end and a star ot tear dropon the butt sure would look nice.
