I like your cabin in the woods.
Ours is a pole barn with a loft.I made itinto the cabin when things came up that stoped us from building a house and retireing on the property right away.
We have frontage on the bay so I get to watch the eagles fish while waiting for the right deer. I too am having my ashes scattered from the blind into the wind.

you guys sure know how to get the tears falling. my little brother was killed in a car wreck right before his 21 birthday, that was in 88. he always talked about having his ashes scattered in the little creek we fished as kids but he lies in a grave beside my father buried with his 30-30 and his fishing pole.
